Reflections

I took this picture for the reflections assignment because I love the way the distant trees are colored and how they reflect in the water. This picture works well for this assignment because your eyes are drawn right to the reflections of the trees in the water, that are the main subject. That means the trees and the grasses are secondary subjects.

I like this picture because of the way the light is reflecting on only half of the water, so one side is dark and one is light.  The main subject is the beam of light in the water and the rocks up front are the secondary subjects.

This is one of my favorite reflections photos because  I like that the whole tree is reflected in the water, but you cant see the actual tree.  The reflection is the main subject and the rocks are secondary subjects.

I love this picture because of the mist in the back round and the beautiful reflection in the water.  Is a nice example of reflection because the tree kinda looks like it keeps going on forever.

I really like the colors in this reflections picture.  The tops of the photo looks like morning and the bottom looks like night.  The main subject is the reflection and the tree is the secondary subject.

I like this picture more for the sun coming up in the back through the trees than i do for the reflection on the hood, but i still really like it. My truck is the main subject and the secondary subjects are the trees.

  1. I think the trees ones work best (and the cows for fun!) and if you think about it, without the reflections, those shots would not be very interesting...soo the water reflections become an important subject.
