I was attempting to try to do a low key portrait it didn't quite turn out but i like this picture in black and white a lot. I think the close up of only half of my face works well. I think this photo does capture my personality because its plain but dramatic all in the same picture. If i did this agin i would maybe try just a picture of my eye.

"plain and dramatic"....I think it's a dramatic photo with the light and composition, but not plain. I like that you tried something different with a self portrait ....nicely done.
