Self Portrait

I was attempting to try to do a low key portrait it didn't quite turn out but i like this picture in black and white a lot. I think the close up of only half of my face works well. I think this photo does capture my personality because its plain but dramatic all in the same picture. If i did this agin i would maybe try just a picture of my eye.

I was walking to the barn one morning in during Christmas break and i saw this in the sky. I just had to go back into the house and get my camera i couldn't resist.

Change of seasons

The change of seasons assignment was pretty simple. Its so easy to find pretty things to take pictures of in the winter. I like this particular photo because it has so much texture and the frost leaves are so clear.

This picture fits the seasons change theme perfectly. The ice is slowly forming, but there is still an open spot of water and the bubbles are forming like they would in the summer after we get a lot of rain.

This is probably my favorite picture from this assignment. The ice formed really weird so it has nice texture. I also like the snow covered rocks and trees in the back ground.

The main reason i like this picture is the colors. This is a picture of a bridge foundation by my house.

In this picture i like the sharpness of all the snow flakes and how the snow covered rock is vary clear but the trees in the back ground are blurry so its easy to focus on the main subject.

hoax photoshop

This is my favorite animal hoax. I used my face and cut out the lions and put mine on it. it doesn't very real but its funny.
This one doesnt look the most realistic either but the possum head fit perfectly on the tree kangaroo so i figured it was ment to be.
This is a picture of the rare cat-lion-seal. He's pretty cute and has a nice head of hair.
This is a grumpy cat sloth. This one was kinda hard to do because the sloth was upside down.

portrait examples

This is an example of a background not included portrait. I like this example because its really easy to focus on the main subject and not get distracted with a lot of things in the back ground.
This picture is an example of a low key portrait. I have never really seen pictures like this before and i really like it!  The lighting really makes this style stand out.
This is an example of a back ground included picture. i think if the background wasn't blurry it would take away from the main subject. This picture is men t to tell a story about the subjects life.
